7 Ways to Make Cookie Cups the MVP of the Big Game

Posted by Michelle Silberman on

With just a week until the Super Bowl, we know that planning a watch party can be stressful and time-consuming.  While we may not be able to help you when it comes to seven layer dip or sliders, we've got dessert covered! Order a pack of cookie cups today for the big game and use these 7 recipes to make cookie cups the MVP of the night. As a Philadelphia born company, we'd just like to say one thing...GO EAGLES!

Ice Cream Sundaes

Let's be real: Ice cream goes great in any of our cookie cups! But if you're cheering on the Eagles, we recommend a Chocolate Chipster or Birthday Cake Cookie Cup, filled with a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream (for a touch of green), a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkles.  A crowd pleaser for any age!

Beer and Cookies? A Match Made in Heaven

Perhaps the most important part of any Super Bowl party is making sure you have plenty of beer to go around.  So why not combine two of everybody's favorite things; beer and cookies? For pairings, check out our collaboration with Evil Genius Brewing Company here or feel free to experiment! We recommend darker beers with our Chocolate Chipster, Mocha Dream or Red Velvet Cookie Cups and lighter beers with our Birthday Cake and Glitz & Glam Cookie Cups.

Marshmallow Fluff; the ooey gooey, coveted treat from our childhood that our parents told us would give us cavities.  While they were probably right, a little Fluff never hurt nobody :) For game day, we recommend filling a Chocolate Chipster or Mocha Dream Cookie Cup with a dollop of Fluff and fire roasting it for a mouthful of melty S'mores goodness. For a touch of Eagles green, add 5-6 drops of green food coloring to 2 cups of Fluff prior to portioning and roasting.

Half Time, Caff Time

After all of the prep, football, commercials and excitement, there won't be a single person in the room that would say no to a little pick me up! Try adding a shot of espresso or plain hot coffee to any of our cookie cups for a jolt to make it to the end of the game.

Wine Not?

For those of you who aren't fans of beer, have no fear! Pop open a bottle of your favorite wine; we guarantee there's the perfect cookie cup to compliment it. White wines and rosés pair great with vanilla frosted Cookie Cups, like Birthday Cake and red wines pair great with chocolate frosted, like Chocolate Chipster.

Dough My God

Here at Snackadabra, we believe that there's no such thing as too much cookie.  We recommend using the Cookie Dough Cafe's Edible Dough (flavor of your choice!) to fill any of our cookie cups.  Then drizzle to your heart's content with caramel or chocolate sauce to bring it all together. There may be a Super Bowl champion by the end of the night, but everyone's a winner with one of these in their hands.

Poppin' Champagne

When your team inevitably wins and you get to run around, screaming in excitement, pop some champagne and pour it into a Rose Gold Cookie Cup as part of your victory celebration because an exciting, one of a kind night deserves an exciting, one of a kind dessert.
